Who is responsible
This site is run by ACERIC (the European Chinese I Ching Research Association), which decides how your personal data is used. Contact: contact@aceric.org
What we collect
Only the email you enter in the "coming soon" form, plus the language of the page, the site (aceric.org or aceric.ai), the sign-up time, and whether you ticked the optional box for content emails. To prevent abuse, the server briefly remembers a non-reversible access identifier for one hour to limit repeated submissions; it is not kept long term.
Purpose and legal basis
Main purpose: sending you one email when the site opens, based on your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). If you ticked the optional box, we may later email you about our content and events, also based on your consent. We do not use your address for anything else.
How long we keep it
Until you withdraw your consent, or 3 years after our last contact, whichever comes first. Then it is deleted.
Who can see it
The email is stored in this site's database, hosted by Namecheap. If we use an email delivery service in future, its name will be added here. We do not sell or rent your data.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, ask us to restrict or object to processing, and ask for a copy of your data. Write to contact@aceric.org. If you think we are not respecting your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country, for example the CNIL in France (cnil.fr).
Cookies and local storage
This site's theme sets no tracking cookies. When you choose a language, it is remembered locally in your browser, nothing more. If we add analytics or advertising tools one day, we will ask for your consent first.
Changes
When we change this policy, the date above is updated.
